1.Purpose of Job
To work within the management accounts team assisting the Dealership Accountant in the smooth operation of the Company’s accounts functions and ensuring all accounts are fully reconciled.
To reconcile vehicle stock schedules and balance sheet accounts as necessary.
To co-ordinate and reconcile the vehicle stock check ensuring all vehicles are accounted for, visiting sites as necessary.
To reconcile and process labour clearing accounts, technician’s holiday pay and WIP accruals.
To reconcile vehicle deposits.
To produce the provisional expense analysis reports prior to tracker submission in order for the Dealership Accountant to review before accounts submission and then finalising on production of the accounts.
To assist with tracker inputs.
To compile year on year analysis reports.
To fulfil any ad hoc duties in relation to the administration of the Accounts Department as may be required by the Dealership Accountant or her Senior Assistant.
To maintain good working relationships with all other staff and to provide cover for other staff in the department in the event of holiday and sickness, especially the vehicle banking clerk.
To ensure that the tidiness and security of the accounts department are maintained and all quality records are maintained securely.To maintain own manner and appearance in order to present the best possible image.To ensure that all guidelines and regulations on health and safety are followed.
To carry out any further duties within capabilities when requested by management.These may include working outside normal hours.
